Breathwork and sound healing and kundalini at the mount without Bristol

An immersion in Breathwork, Yoga & Sound

The Mount Without, St Michael’s Hill, Bristol
Sunday solstice June 21st

Come and celebrate the longest day of the year and the beginning of summer with an afternoon of breathwork, yoga, journaling & sound healing to deepen our connection with breath and ignite our internal fires as the sun reaches the midpoint of the year.

This immersion in breathwork, Kundalini Global Yoga and journaling in the candlelit setting of The Mount Without will help us to rebalance and restore our energies as we move into the peak of the summer months.

We will take some time to set our intentions and journal on where we are and what we want to welcome in for the summer solstice. Working with breath, stretch and posture to soothe the nervous system will help us transition into the new season with clarity. This practice will activate the energetic body helping us to move with purpose and embody our intentions and finish with a sound bath to take us into deep relaxation.

Breath is a powerful tool we can harness to help us to release stress and tension in the body, and enter a deep state of presence. When we combine breath and posture it allows us to quiet our minds and open our hearts, expanding our energetic field, and accepting ourselves completely as we are. Some breaths will be energetic, some incredibly soft and gentle, both will allow us to experience complete stillness.

Working with the science of these divine ancient practices can significantly reduce anxiety, depression, and addictive behaviours, creating a profound sense of balance within the self. There is an ever-expanding body of research that supports the benefits of yoga, breathwork and meditation in improving and maintaining overall mental and physical health.

Western science is only just catching up with what indigenous people have always known.

Breathwork connects the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual and helps build our capacity to feel what needs to be felt in any given moment. It is an invitation to return to our original life source

These classes are music led and end with a gentle crystal bowl sound bath to help us integrate the practice.
